- Piece Placement: Played on an 8x8 checkerboard with 12 pieces per side positioned on the dark squares.
- Moving: Regular pieces move forward diagonally by one unoccupied square.
- Jumping & Capturing: If an opponent's piece is diagonally adjacent and the square behind it is empty, you must jump over and capture it! If another jump is available from that landing square, you must continue the multi-jump chain.
